Deva Stadium

About

Project Brøndby was created by a group of Chester City fans, most of whom have never been to Denmark or heard of Brøndby before. The idea came to us after seeing how easy it is to set up a website and, with the support of lots of delusional people, buy a team they've never heard of. This happened to Chester City, which was bought by some random Danish people who met on the internet and had never heard of Chester before. Within weeks of taking over Chester City, the club were thrown out of the football conference and wound cup in the high court.

Chester needs a good football team. Currently, they only have the Hot Chester City Ladygirls team. We propose to form a reverse purchase consortium, launch a takeover of Danish side Brøndby, and then move them to play at the now defunct Chester Deva Stadium, which is actually in Wales.

Business Plan

We don't have one - however this doesn't seem to be a problem. Our Internet-based research indicates that the Deva Stadium would more than accomodate Brondby's existing fan base. It has four tiers, and even a Subway!

Community engagement

We do not plan to engage with the existing fan base, however they have given our plan 100% support. We will introduce bingo at our regular over-50s meets in Chester Guildhall. Will try to insult the existing fans at every opportunity and ride roughshod over them. We believe that football franchising is the way to go. We are inspired by the brave people of City Milton Keynes, who won the FA Cup by buying another team and moving them to their locality.

Why Brøndby?

Chester fans were all prepared to step in and take control of their beloved local team - however it was stolen from them by a Danish internet group. We have all the resources in place already to take on the management of a football team. Brøndbyernes IF Fodbold A/S is expected to come out with a surplus this fiscal year, as was the case in 2009, and the company is in no way weighed down by heavy debts. Brøndby play at the highest level in the Danish league, and often meet other European teams. The citizens of Chester deserve champions league football. Our plan sounds like a great financial investment. Please send us your money.
